This Weekend in Tango, November 14-17, 2013

You can get your fill of tango this weekend, starting with TONIGHT’S Beginner class at 6:30 PM ($10). It is only the second class of the eight-week series, so feel free to come if you missed last week.  The Thursday night practica starts immediately after class for dancers of all levels to work on what we learned this week.

Tomorrow (11/14) is the monthly Third Friday Milonga at Open Eye Cafe ($5).  This event features a FREE lesson at 8 PM, followed by a casual milonga from 9-11:30 PM. For more details, please visit the Triangle Tango website.

Saturday night (11/15) is a special tango lesson and milonga at Sarah B. Duke Gardens ($12 at the door). This venue is known for its elegant surroundings and gorgeous wood floors. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit the Duke Gardens event page.

As always on Sunday, we rest up for Monday’s classes: The Elements of the Cross for Intermediate students  ($10) and The Art of the Secret Lead for Advanced students ($15). Drop-ins are welcome! And don’t forget about Tango Utopia’s FREE Monday night practica from 8:00-8:30 PM between classes.

You may sign up for any of these events at our Meetup group. Also be sure to like Tango Utopia on Facebook for the latest updates and photos from the November Milonga Utopia.

See you on the dance floor!
