Utopia tango’s new 6 week beginner and intermediate class starts September 18th through October 23rd!!!

Please join us for Utopia style learning experience! 

Over the river and through the woods to Saxapahaw we go! That’s right, ya’ll! September Milonga Utopia will be held in the beautiful Haw River Ballroom, and YES, this is where the 2nd Haw River Tango Marathon will be held at the end of December and YES, you betcha we will have a grand ol’ time! For starters, the raffle price is a MARATHON PASS!!! Then, our own DJ Katia Singletary will be fetchin’ some nifty tunes for hours of dancing that will delight our pea-pickin’ little hearts. As always, we will have the lovely Utopia spread that is oh so granny slappin’ good! You may bring your own wine, however, the venue has a nice wine available for $15 a bottle. Whatever you decide to do, remember that sharing is caring.

So plan to git all gussied up for one evening of milonga funness in the country!

As the heat of summer settles in and the stupor starts creeping into your dancing, Tango Utopia is ready to jump start your moves with Maestro Luis Rojas! Join us for two nights of learning, enough to wake up your tango senses. And then get ready to apply what you have learned by dancing the night away on our special edition Friday Milonga Utopia with Luis as our very special guest DJ! And if your senses are over-awakened, then move on over to Greensboro on Saturday, July 1, for more learning with Luis and dancing at Milonga Monserrat!

Less than one week before our great weekend with Oscar Casas! For those of you who are last minute peeps, do not dismay! We have a few spots left, but wait no longer and register.

Even if you do not attend the workshop, Utopia has planned two exciting milongas that you do not want to miss! Our own Alicia Lazarowski will be DJing our Friday Welcome Milonga and on Saturday, Daniel Arredondo from Charlotte will spin tunes to keep us dancing until the wee hours in the morning. AND you definitely do not want to miss the performance of our own Jae with Oscar!

Cost: $15 at the door (unless you have weekend/full workshop pass)

Two important things to keep in mind tonight. First, make sure your clocks are set an hour ahead if you did not do it yesterday – otherwise you will be late to work. Second, and most important, the Oscar Casas workshop registration is opened , so do your thing and sign up!
