2017 Utopia New Year’s Eve

Our new 6 week series starts next Monday December 11th until January 29th! We are going to study Volcada for intermediate class!

Attention, Utopians! There will be no Milonga Utopia in November BUT stay tuned for our special edition holiday milonga in December: Milonga Fa-la-la (December 9).

Also, do not forget to register for the 2nd Haw River Tango Marathon with Utopia’s renowned New Year’s Eve milonga! What great events to bring in 2018!

It’s that time of year: Oktoberfest a la Utopia style with DJ Ramu from D.C.

We are thrilled to welcome back Ramu and his crew for a night of lovely tandas and warm embraces. As usual, we will have our delicious assortment of snacks and refreshments to keep energy levels up and the dancing going to the very end.

Utopia tango’s new 6 week beginner and intermediate class starts September 18th through October 23rd!!!

Please join us for Utopia style learning experience! 

Over the river and through the woods to Saxapahaw we go! That’s right, ya’ll! September Milonga Utopia will be held in the beautiful Haw River Ballroom, and YES, this is where the 2nd Haw River Tango Marathon will be held at the end of December and YES, you betcha we will have a grand ol’ time! For starters, the raffle price is a MARATHON PASS!!! Then, our own DJ Katia Singletary will be fetchin’ some nifty tunes for hours of dancing that will delight our pea-pickin’ little hearts. As always, we will have the lovely Utopia spread that is oh so granny slappin’ good! You may bring your own wine, however, the venue has a nice wine available for $15 a bottle. Whatever you decide to do, remember that sharing is caring.

So plan to git all gussied up for one evening of milonga funness in the country!
