As many of you know, Grace Marion, a long-time member of our tango community and current president of Triangle Tango, is fighting blood cancer. Her road back to health will be a long and risk-laden one.

Please join Tango Utopia on our second Saturday milonga, “Dancing with Grace”. Come show your support as we raise funds to help the family pay for some of the many expenses they are incurring as a result of this grave illness. All door proceeds and donations will go to Grace and her family. In addition, we will have a silent auction. Items for auction include private lessons from local community teachers, milonga passes, chocolate, wine and more. Come prepared to place your bid! Our new rising star, DJ Mitch Lee, will play romantic music and fill the ambience with lots of LOVE!

Beautiful music, yummy food and a meaningful cause…enough reasons to gracefully dance the night away!

Just a quick reminder that, due to Queen City Tango Marathon, there will be no Milonga Utopia in January. We will pick up the lovely Utopian embraces in February as we celebrate a special Valentine edition of Milonga Utopia!

2017 Utopia New Year’s Eve

Our new 6 week series starts next Monday December 11th until January 29th! We are going to study Volcada for intermediate class!

Attention, Utopians! There will be no Milonga Utopia in November BUT stay tuned for our special edition holiday milonga in December: Milonga Fa-la-la (December 9).

Also, do not forget to register for the 2nd Haw River Tango Marathon with Utopia’s renowned New Year’s Eve milonga! What great events to bring in 2018!
