Hot summer is here, and Tango Utopia is taking a break from classes – July. 13th to August. 3rd. We’re coming back on August. 10th for new series of classes. We hope everybody has an amazing summer time and hope to see you all back in August.
Practica will be on during this time, don’t miss to practice your tango skills.
Registration for the weekend workshop with Tomás Howlin & Karen Jaffe is NOW open. The workshop is held on Friday, September 11 – Sunday, September 13, 2015. All classes and milongas take place at Triangle Dance Studios in Durham.
The Full Package (Friday through Sunday) includes 5 workshops and entry into 2 milongas ($130 per person; $230 per couple). The Weekend Package includes 4 workshops and the Saturday milonga ($110 per person; $200 per couple). Slots are limited, so sign up early.

This Thursday we welcome the maestros Alicia Pons & Luis Rojas back to the Triangle. Maestro Rojas will be our special guest DJ for the evening. Join us for the preview of what will be a wonderful workshop weekend.

Our new series of classes for Beginners and Intermediates will start on Monday, June 1st. Classes are $10 per class/$50 for the series for individuals and $18 per class/$90 for the series for couples. There will be no class on Memorial Day. See our Classes page for more details.
Join us for our May Milonga Utopia where we celebrate all the tango moms in our community. Our DJ for the evening will be the tango queen herself–Jae Grisham. We’ll have our usual assortment of delicious snacks and thirst-quenching refreshments, as well as our sparkling door prize! We promise to have you home before they bring you breakfast in bed.

Something special for this month’s Milonga Utopia! Grish and Suni will be your hosts with a promise to welcome you with a warm smiles and/or a cozy embraces. Since St Patrick’s day is just a couple of days away I would like to see as many people as possible wearin’ the GREEN. Alicia will bring her vibrant mix of music to keep everyone dancing all night.
