Change of plan – April Milonga Utopia April, 11th

Dear All,
Time to shake off those winter icicles and put a few tandas on your new shoes. Grish and Suni will once again be hosting the first Utopia milonga of Spring. This month the DJ will be our very own Katia Singletary, and she will bring all her fabulous tandas to the dance floor. As always, we’ll have plenty of munchies to keep our energy levels up, and everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite beverage to share with friends. And don’t forget, there will be a sparkling door prize for the lucky ticket holder.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on the dance floor.

Milonga Utopia – 03/14

Something special for this month’s Milonga Utopia! Grish and Suni will be your hosts with a promise to welcome you with a warm smiles and/or a cozy embraces. Since St Patrick’s day is just a couple of days away I would like to see as many people as possible wearin’ the GREEN. Alicia will bring her vibrant mix of music to keep everyone dancing all night. We will be bringing our usual assortment of delicious munchies and the sparkling door prize. Let’s make this a March (St Pattys Day Milonga)we can all remember!

No practica tonight – 2/26

Dear, All
So sorry to have to cancel our fun Thursday practica two weeks on a row. But even though we are tango warriors, we have to sit back and be safe when weather like this rears its ugly head.
Hopefully, we will have better and no more snow this weekend because we are having two more tango opportunity on Sunday March, 1st.
John’s Sunday guided practica from 3pm to 6pm at TDS Lindy lab.
Johnathan’s Sunday milonga from 7pm to 10pm at TDS Lindy lab.
And next weekend,  we are having a special workshop (March, 6-8th) with Ney Melo and Jennifer Bratt from NYC sponsored by Triangle Tango!!!
It a great opportunity to take lessons from special guest teachers right here in our hometown. So please check out Triangletango.com for more details.

No Thursday practica tomorrow 2/19

The weather doesn’t seem to be friendly to tango. I do not want to see anyone get hurt driving to tango on these icy roads.

There will be plenty of time in better weather to come.

Triangle Tango hosting workshop with Ney & Jennifer

Triangle Tango is hosting workshop with Ney Melo & Jennifer Bratt: Bringing  the Y to the NC.

Friday night at the Lindy Lab, Katia will DJ our Welcome Milonga with wine, chocolate, and cheese. And Saturday we have the fabulous new Arthur Murray Studio all weekend, and we’ll have sangría, Lita’s empanadas and the sweet, sweet tunes of DC’s best DJ Ramu Pyreddy to keep us dancing to the wee hours.

Fantastic energy – that sums up last Saturday night’s milonga. This would have not been possible without the gorgeous tandas created by our DJ Clint Rauchner, the presence of so many of our favorite out of town tangueros and our community coming together. Last night reminded us why we love this dance! Thank you all for making our Valentine’s Day milonga such a success!
