Crash course in tango: The walk, the connection, and the embrace

9pm-1am Fusion Dance (organized by Sam Clinton)

SATURDAY, June 29th

WORKSHOPS

2.00pm – 2.45pm Kickstart Your Tango-II (Luis Del Rio)
The walk, the connection, and the embrace: introducing Pivots and Turns, and the Cross.

3.00pm – 3.45pm Variations of La Salida (Alicia & Eduardo Lazarowski)
Explore different options of Salida to cross, or ocho or turn.

4.00pm -4.45pm Art of Floor Navigation (Cecil Ho & Yidi Wu)
Essential movements for traveling seamlessly across the dance floor, ensuring you can confidently and gracefully move with the flow of the dance.

5.00pm – 5.45pm Dancing in crowded floors (Daniel Arredondo)
Expressing big feelings in small spaces.

Hello all! The intermediate class is on break for the month of June. You can get an early start on your practica starting at 730p at TDS! See you there.

We have a lot happening right at the start of June! But also at the end! It is a great month to kick start your tango.

Next class series @ TDS for the beginners starts this Thursday, June 6th at 6pm-7pm with Aidan Huene!

The intermediate class series will be on pause while Jae is traveling. Come join us for an extended práctica starting at 730p. Those wanting to focus on dancing both roles are encouraged to come to practice around 7p.

Then the last weekend of the month, we have another Immersion weekend Friday, June 28th, through Sunday June 30th at Endeavor Martial Arts. Stay tuned for more details!

Hello all, due to construction in the usual downstairs studio, our May Milonga will be hosted in Studio 5. Same parking lot, just on the other side. See you there!
