We’ve been looking forward to this weekend all month…the May Milonga Utopia on Saturday, May 11th from 9 PM to 2 AM ($10) at Triangle Dance Studios. This event will honor all the tango moms for their hard work on and off the dance floor. All moms and moms-to-be will get TWO raffle tickets—one for the champagne door prize and another for a special prize. The DJ for Saturday night will be super-mom Katia Singletary, so we hope you will join us.
If you can’t join us on Saturday, you can always come out tonight for the weekly Thursday práctica at Triangle Dance Studios ($5) to continue working on the techniques we learned in class.
As usual on Sunday, we will rest up from our tango-filled weekend and prepare for class on Monday. Beginners will practice their side steps and pivots and Intermediates will practice back cross and pivots in close embrace. It’s still not too late to sign up for the series!
